Robia Fields, LMSW
I am a psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience specializing in CBT and Expressive Arts. I’ve worked with several agencies, servicing adolescents, young adults, middle-aged adults, and geriatrics. Primarily I provide the provision of individual, family, and group treatment to those who suffer from previous and/or present mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or comorbid disorders. Such services have helped to improve stability in daily living, improve family relationships, restore homeostasis, increase the possibility of abstinence, and improve the ability to cope with crisis situations, all while providing clinical guidance. I offer my experiences and various training to assist one in finding ways to journey through difficult challenges. As a psychotherapist my approach is client-centered with a focus on client needs and concerns. I offer nonjudgmental and active listening allowing the client to feel safe, seen and heard. Together we will explore internal and external stressors that negatively impact one’s ability to cope. My experiences are in the following areas: anxiety, depression, LGBTQ issues, sibling rivalries, and family dynamics. I invite you to contact me at your leisure to discuss needs and support.
